Bacon Alfredo with Chicken
- 1/2 pounds Bacon
- 2 Tablespoons Bacon Fat, Divided
- 3 Chicken Breasts
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 2 Tablespoons Flour
- 2 cups Chicken Broth
- 1/2 cups White Wine
- 1/2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
- 2 ounces, weight Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 16 ounces, weight Pasta, To Serve
- 1.
- Chop bacon and fry.
- Set bacon and 2 tablespoons drippings aside, separately.
- 2.
- Add 1 tablespoon bacon fat back to the pan and add chicken and garlic.
- Cook for 6-8 minutes and set chicken aside.
- If there is extra liquid in pan, reduce until mostly gone.
- 3.
- Whisk flour into chicken broth.
- 4.
- Add wine, chicken broth/flour and remaining 1 tablespoon bacon fat to pan.
- Bring to a boil.
- 5.
- Add cream and cheese.
- Stir until melted.
- 6.
- Add bacon and chicken back to pan.
- Serve with pasta.
