Kutum Lavagny (Stuffed Fish)

  1. Plump raisins in water.
  2. (If substituting dried cherries, plump them as well.)
  3. Clean and wash the fish.
  4. (Substitute trout or another freshwater white fish if kutum is not available.
  5. ).
  6. Drain fruit.
  7. Preheat oven to 400F.
  8. Make a stuffing of onion, walnuts, butter, and fruit.
  9. Add salt if needed.
  10. Stuff the fish, wrap in foil and bake 20 minutes.
  11. Slice crosswise to serve.
