1001 Orange Date Nut Bars Recipe

• 3 c. 1001 Cookie Mix
• 2 x Large eggs
• 1/4 c. orange juice
• 1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
• 1 c. coarsely minced dates
• 1 c. finely minced nuts Domino Granulated Sugar, as needed

1. Just one of the many different types of cookies made from the master cookie mix.
2. Preheat oven to 350 F. Generously grease 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
3. In large bowl, mix together cookie mix, Large eggs, orange juice and orange rind.
4. Stir in dates and nuts.
5. Spread into prepared pan.
6. Bake about 25 min.
7. While hot, cut into 1-1/2" squares.
8. Sprinkle with sugar.
9. Makes 48 squares.
