Cream Cheese Puffs
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 12 cup water chestnut, 1/8 inch cubes
- 2 stalks green onions, minced
- 36 wonton wrappers
- 1 egg, beaten
- oil
- In a mixing bowl blend together cream cheese, water chestnut and green onion with a piece of the wrapper place a 1 tsp of the cream cheese mixture and seal the edge with some of the beaten egg and fold diagonally and press to seal.
- Place into hot oil and fry to a golden brown and drain on paper towel.
- Make about 3 dozens.
