Fresh Strawberry Pie

  1. In medium pot, bring sugar and 7-Up or Sprite to a boil.
  2. Add dissolved cornstarch and cook until thickened.
  3. Add red food coloring.
  4. Place strawberries in baked pie shell.
  5. Pour thickened glaze over berries.
  6. After pie cools, top with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
  7. Refrigerate.
