Haloumi Koftes (Kofta)

  1. Place all ingredients but the cheese and oil in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Take a small amount of the mince mixture in your hand and roll it into a ball.
  3. Then using your finger, make a small indentation in the mix and place a cube of cheese in the mince.
  4. Roll the mince ball around so none of the cheese is showing.
  5. You want to have the cheese sit in the centre of the kofte.
  6. Place a tablespoon of oil in a fry pan and heat.
  7. Place koftes in the pan and cook on medium heat untill cooked through.
  8. Serve immediatley.
  9. You can serve this with rice pilav, tsatsiki, bruchetta, or whatever else you like.
