Acorn Squash With Cranberry Filling Recipe

  1. Prick squash several times with fork to allow steam to escape like you would a potato.
  2. Place in microwave at HIGH till soft when pricked with fork, 10 to 12 min.
  3. Turn squash over and rotate after half the cooking time.
  4. Let stand 5 min.
  5. Cut in half and remove the seeds.
  6. Place cut side up in a square casserole dish.
  7. Set aside.
  8. Combine cranberry sauce, honey and allspice in bowl.
  9. Microwave at HIGH till warm and bubbly, 3 to 4 min, stirring after half the cooking time.
  10. Spoon into squash halves.
  11. Microwave at HIGH till heated through, 2 or possibly 3 min.
  12. Serves 4.
