Sugar & Spice Pork Roast
- 2 lb pork roast
- 1 stick butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp ground allspice
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 3/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 large pinch kosher salt and black pepper
- 1 peanut oil; as needed
- Cover pork loin with enough oil to coat.
- Season with dried spices excluding brown sugar.
- Roast at 300 for approximately 1 hour or until pork reaches desired doneness.
- Slowly melt butter in a small pan.
- Add brown sugar when butter is melted and stir quickly.
- Pour over pork roast during last 5 minutes of cooking.
