Mochi Chocolate Crunch

  1. Finely mince the mochi (this is important, so give it your all!
  2. Be careful not to cut yourself.)
  3. Cover the plate in your oven toaster with aluminum foil and spread out the minced mochi.
  4. Try to make it a uniform layer.
  5. Cook for about 3 minutes in the oven toaster, then turn over.
  6. Don't worry if it's still a bit sticky.
  7. Turn over and cook for an additional 2 minutes or less.
  8. Don't let it burn, cook it to where it's still white.
  9. Once cooked break into further small pieces.
  10. If you find any large hard lumps, remove and set aside.
  11. Melt the chocolate (for the microwave, 50 seconds in 2 parts (600 W) should be ok!
  12. ).
  13. Mix in the melted chocolate with the crumbled mochi from Step 5.
  14. Keep mixing until there's no white spots left.
  15. Make bite-sized pieces on a pan and refrigerate to harden.
