Chicken A La King Recipe
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 2 1/2 c. diced, cooked chicken
- 1 c. cooked peas
- 1 (4 ounce.) can sliced mushrooms, liquid removed
- 1/2 c. sliced, cooked carrots
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 2 tbsp. minced pimiento
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Dissolve bouillon cubes in warm water.
- In saucepan, heat butter, blend in flour.
- Add in broth slowly, stirring constantly.
- Add in other ingredients and heat till mix bubbles.
- Serve over biscuits, rice, toast or possibly other favorite.
