Southern Greens
- 2 bunches greens
- 1 quart water
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 pickled tabasco pepper (can take from pepper sauce bottle)
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 4 ounces cubed ham or 1 ham hock
- Remove stems from and wash and chop the greens.
- Combine all ingredients with the greens in large pot and simmer until tender, about 2 hours.
- Best served with cornbread!
