Delicious Mizuna Salad with Tofu Dressing
- 1/3 to 1/2 bag Mizuna greens
- 2 Chikuwa
- 150 grams Tofu
- 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoon Shiro-dashi
- 1 to 2 teaspoons Sugar
- 1 tbsp Ground sesame seeds
- 2 tsp Sesame oil
- 1 tsp Grated ginger
- 1 White sesame seeds
- Cut the chikuwa sticks in half lengthwise, then into thin diagonal slices.
- Rinse the mizuna greens.
- Before cutting the mizuna, hold the greens by the roots and shake to remove excess water.
- Combine the tofu dressing ingredients in a bowl, and mix evenly with a whisk.
- Right before serving, toss the mizuna and chikuwa in the tofu dressing from Step 3.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds, then serve.
- Reduce the amount of ginger when serving to children.
