Sweet and Sour Red Cabbage and Apples

  1. Mince garlic.
  2. If using a food processor to grate the cabbage, use it to mince the garlic; otherwise mince by hand.
  3. Grate whole cabbage.
  4. Heat oil in nonstick pan, and add garlic and cabbage.
  5. Saute over medium heat.
  6. Meanwhile wash, core and cut apples into bite-size chunks.
  7. Add to cabbage mixture, and stir well.
  8. Add remaining ingredients.
  9. Cover, and cook over low heat, until apples are tender, about 7 minutes.
