Chunky Chocolate-Jam Bars
- 1-1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. Magic Baking Powder
- 1 cup cold non-hydrogenated margarine
- 1-1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1/2 cup flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted
- 5 oz. Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, coarsely chopped
- 1 jar (250 mL) Kraft Pure Raspberry Jam
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Line 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides.
- Spray with cooking spray.
- Mix flour, sugar and baking powder in large bowl.
- Cut in margarine with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add oats, coconut and nuts; mix well.
- Press half the crumb mixture into bottom of prepared pan; sprinkle with chocolate.
- Spoon jam over top; cover with remaining crumb mixture.
- Bake 25 to 30 min.
- or until lightly browned.
- Use foil handles to lift dessert from pan; place on wire rack.
- Cool completely before cutting into bars.
