Simply the BEST Chili

  1. Cut the stew meat into bite size pieces.
  2. Marinate the stew meat overnight with lime juice, onion powder, garlic powder and a dash of cayenne.
  3. Brown hamburger with onion, garlic, bell pepper, celery and 1/2 tbsp of cumin.
  4. Brown sausage and drain fat.
  5. Cut bacon into bite size pieces and cooks until slightly brown.
  6. Drain fat.
  7. Remove stew meat from marinade and brown.
  8. Combine meat with all remaining ingredients is a large pot.
  9. Bring to a boil.
  10. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 3-4 hours or until the chili is of desired thickness.
  11. *Note: I cook it uncovered because I like my chili nice and thick.
