Banana Split Parfaits

  1. Pour mlk into large bowl.
  2. Add dry pudding mix.
  3. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes, or until well blended.
  4. Gently stir in 1 cup of the whipped topping; spread into 8-inch square pan.
  5. Freeze 3 hours or until firm enough to scoop.
  6. Chop 16 of the wafers.
  7. Spoon scant tablespoons of the chopped wafers into each of eight parfait glasses or dessert dishes.
  8. Scoop 1/4 cup of the pudding mixture into each glass with ice cream scoop; sprinkle evenly with chopped wafers.
  9. Cut bananas in half lengthwise, then cut each piece crosswise in half.
  10. Stand 1 banana piece in each parfait glass.
  11. Fill evenly with the remaining 1/2 cup whipped topping, remaining 8 wafers and the cherries.
  12. Serve immediately.
  13. MAKE IT EASY: Let frozen pudding mixture stand at room temperature about 5 minutes before scooping to soften slightly.
  14. JAZZ IT UP: Top with your favourite ice cream toppings, such as chocolate or caramel ice cream topping, Jet-Puffed Marshmallow Creme or colored sprinkles.
