Falafel

  1. Cover beans with water and soak over night, 8 to 10 hours.
  2. Drain the beans and run through a meat grinder or food processor.
  3. Combine ground beans, spices and baking powder and mix well.
  4. Form mixture into 1-inch balls and flatten.
  5. Deep fry at 350F until brown and crisp, about 2 minutes.
  6. Drain and serve with tahini sauce.
