For Your Bento Sauteed Spinach with Tarako Salted Cod Roe

  1. Rinse the spinach and microwave at 500 W for 20-30 seconds in a plastic bag.
  2. Chill in water, cut into bite-sized pieces, then drain the excess water.
  3. Combine the tarako and sake.
  4. Heat vegetable oil (a few drops, not listed) in a pan, and briefly saute the spinach.
  5. Add the tarako and sake from Step 2, and toss evenly.
  6. Here it is in my husband's bento.
