Monkey bread
- 4 8 oz cans of refrigerated biscuits
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar(yes another one)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cup chopped pecans (or nuts of your choice)
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Grease or butter a bundt pan, tube pan or loaf pan.
- In a baggy or small bowl mix together the first 3/4c sugar with the cinnamon.
- Coat all of the pieces very well, doing this in batches.
- After you take each batch out put them into your greased pan.
- Just make sure you don't pack them in to tight cuz they will spread when baking.
- After you have all the biscuits done.
- In a small saucepan slowly bring to a boil the milk, the granulated sugar, Brown sugar and the butter.
- Boil for 1 min, remove from heat and add the vanilla.
- Stir until completely mixed.
- Slowly pour over the biscuits and bake for 30-40 min or until golden Brown on top.
- Remove from oven and being very careful flip onto a serving dish or another pan.
- Please be very careful with this step!
- Let the pan sit on top of the bread for a few min to let the gooeyness get into the bread.
- If you plan on adding the nuts you can do this as your putting the biscuit pieces into the pan, spreading them throughout the dough.
- No need to cut this yummy bread it just pulls right apart!
- Now all ya gotta do is enjoy the yumminess!
