Miko's Lotus Root

  1. Cut lotus root into thin slices.
  2. Saute in frying pan with olive oil for a few minutes.
  3. Be careful not to saute too long, as lotus root tastes best when still a little crunchy.
  4. Mix in sugar and soy sauce and continue to cook until well incorporated.
  5. Remove from heat and add sesame oil.
