Beany's Pizza Crust Recipe
- 1 cake yeast
- 1 teaspoon fructose
- 2 tbsp. shortening
- 6 c. unbleached white flour
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 2 c. boiling water
- Soften yeast in lukewarm water.
- Add in fructose, salt, shortening and boiling water in a large bowl and stir till dissolved.
- Cold till lukewarm.
- Add in yeast.
- Add in about half of the flour and beat till smooth.
- Add in sufficient remaining flour to give a soft dough.
- Knead on lightly floured board till smooth.
- Let rise, till doubled in bulk, then divide and pat out into individual pizzas.
- Oil and partially bake.
