Pork Chops with Herb Rub
- 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram, crumbled
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 4 center loin pork chops (about 4 ounces each if boneless, 6 ounces each with bone), cut 1/2 inch thick, all visible fat discarded
- Preheat the grill on medium high or preheat the broiler.
- In a small bowl, stir together all the ingredients except the pork.
- Sprinkle over both sides of the pork.
- Using your fingertips, gently press the mixture so it adheres to the pork.
- Grill the pork or broil about 4 inches from the heat for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until browned on the outside and slightly pink in the center.
