Homemade Chunky Ra-yu
- 80 ml Sesame oil
- 40 ml Vegetable oil
- 1 tsp Ichimi spice
- 1 whole garlic Garlic
- 15 cm The white part of a Japanese leek
- 1/4 Onion
- 1 tbsp White sesame seeds
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 5 shakes Umami seasoning
- Finely chop all the ingredients.
- Grind the sesame seeds.
- Put the rest of the ingredients except for the ones marked in a pan over medium heat.
- Heat while mixing to prevent it from sticking to the pan.
- Turn off the heat, add the ingredients and cook over low heat for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Done!
- It has a deep caramel color like this when it's done.
- The chopped ingredients should be golden brown!
- It looks so good.
