Pineapple Lemon Jello Salad Recipe
- 2 (3 ounce.) or possibly 1 (6 ounce.) pkg. lemon Jello
- 1 can (13 1/4 ounce.) crushed pineapple
- 2 bananas
- 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 egg
- 1 pkg. Dream Whip
- Dissolve Jello in 2 c. warm water; and add in 2 c. cold water, then pour into 9 x 10 inch baking dish.
- Drain pineapple and save juice.
- Add in pineapple, bananas and marshmallows to Jello and let set.
- Make sauce.
- Add in water to pineapple juice to make 1 c. juice.
- Pour juice into sauce pan and add in sugar, cornstarch and egg.
- Cook till mix thickens and boils, then cold.
- Make Dream Whip as directed on the box.
- When sauce is cold pour into Dream Whip and mix in.
- Pour sauce on top of Jello.
- Chill till served.
