Top Sirloin Steak, a Brand New Concept and Wonderful
- 8 ounces top sirloin steaks, 1/2 inch thick
- 12 teaspoon black pepper seasoning salt
- 14 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 slices sweet French baguettes, cut into quarters
- Unwrap your fresh, cold from the store or refrigerator, steak.
- Season with Pepper seasoning salt and garlic powder to taste.
- Put in Microwave oven for 15 seconds, turn over and Microwave for 15 seconds on the other side.
- Leave in Microwave for 30 minutes.
- Warm Olive Oil in a skillet, add butter.
- Heat until butter is frothy and just barely beginning to brown.
- Add Steak and cook a bare 4 minutes per side for rare.
- (I would not try this if you don't like rare steak) I don't know what 3 extra minutes would do.
- Remove Steak to plate and put bread quarters on plate.
- Drizzle pan drippings over steak and bread.
- I serve this with Rosemary Potatoes, and Tomatoes Rockefeller.
- (I'll post the Rosemary Potatoes recipe and the recipe for "Tomatoes Rockefeller" in a few minutes.
- ).
