Bisquick Cherry Fruit Chews Recipe

• 1/4 c. Butter
• 1 c. Sugar
• 2 x Large eggs
• 1 1/4 c. Bisquick baking mix
• 1 c. Walnuts minced
• 1 c. Dates cut up
• 1 jar (4 ounce) maraschino cherr (abt 1/3 c.) Liquid removed/minced

1. Mix butter, sugar, and Large eggs; stir in baking mix.
2. Gently mix in nuts, dates and cherries.
3. Spread dough in greased oblong pan 13 x 9 x 2 inches.
4. Bake 30 min at 350*.
5. Cold slightly and cut into 1 1/2 inch squares.
6. Makes 4 dozen.
7. The book says they are moist and rich bars.
