Mother's Sweet Potato Pudding Recipe

  1. Combine sugar, butter, lowfat milk, Large eggs and spices; adding sweet potato as it is grated to keep potatoes from turning dark; mix well.
  2. Bake in large black skillet which has been greased with butter/butter.
  3. Cook for 1 hour, stirring twice; during this time add in more lowfat milk if pudding is too thick.
  4. Finish cooking last 15 min in well buttered casserole dish.
