California Garlic Soup Fondue Recipe

  1. Saute/fry garlic in butter for 10 min, stirring often.
  2. Don't brown.
  3. Add in broth, water, champagne and simmer 5 min.
  4. Toast bread.
  5. Ladle soup into bowls.
  6. Float bread on top of soup, sprinkle with cheese and bake at 475 degrees, uncovered, for 15 min.
  7. Sprinkle with cayenne and chives.
