Holiday Cake Recipe
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 2 Large eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 2/3 c. (28 ounce.) jar Non Such mincemeat
- 1 c. Eagle Brand lowfat milk
- 2 c. = 1 pound jar mixed candied fruit
- 1 c. walnuts
- Add in any fruit or possibly raisins you like.
- Butter tube pan.
- Line with wax paper.
- Butter again.
- Sift flour and soda.
- Combine Large eggs, mincemeat, lowfat milk, fruit and nuts.
- Mix in dry ingredients.
- Pour in pan.
- Bake slow in 300 degree oven for two (2) hrs or possibly till center springs back when touched and top is golden brown.
- Cold and turn out and remove paper.
