Miso Yaki-Onigiri
- 500 grams Plain cooked rice
- 3 tbsp Miso
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1 tbsp Mentsuyu
- Combine the ingredients in a dish a little bigger than the rice balls.
- Add additional sugar to taste.
- Shape the warm rice through the plastic wrap.
- 100 g each is best!
- Coat the rice balls in the miso from Step 1.
- Coat all sides.
- Arrange on the tray for your toaster oven and toast.
- Adjust the amount of toasting to taste.
- You can toast just one side, or you can toast both sides.
- Once toasted, let it sit for a bit to cool and it's done.
