Fire and Ice Cream

  1. Whisk the cream, half-and-half, sugar and salt in a bowl until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Stir in the vanilla extract and cinnamon oil.
  3. Churn in an ice cream maker adding the red hots 5 mins before it's done or stir them in after after it comes out of the ice cream maker.
  4. Transfer to an airtight container and freeze until firm, at least 2 hours.
