Fire and Ice Cream
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 2 cups half-and-half
- 1 cup sugar
- 14 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 12 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 14 teaspoon cinnamon oil or 14 teaspoon cinnamon extract
- 1 ounce cinnamon red hot's candy (whole or crushed as you wish and use as many or few as you like)
- Whisk the cream, half-and-half, sugar and salt in a bowl until the sugar dissolves.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and cinnamon oil.
- Churn in an ice cream maker adding the red hots 5 mins before it's done or stir them in after after it comes out of the ice cream maker.
- Transfer to an airtight container and freeze until firm, at least 2 hours.
