Pasta With Pumpkin Sauce
- 1 lb radiatore
- 1 12 cups broccoli florets
- 8 ounces turkey breakfast sausage, removed from casing
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 14 cups fat-free half-and-half
- 1 cup canned cooked pumpkin
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 14 teaspoon salt
- Cook pasta as package directs, adding broccoli 3 minutes before pasta will be done.
- Meanwhile, cook sausage in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat, breaking with with spoon, until cooked through, about 6 minutes.
- Drain fat.
- Stir in pumpkin pie spice, cook 1 minute.
- Stir in half and half, pumpkin, sugar and salt.
- Heat mixture to boiling and cook 1 minute longer.
