Cranberry and Apple Stuffing
- 12 cup butter
- 2 cups celery, chopped
- 12 cup onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon thyme leaves
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 2 red apples, cored and chipped
- 1 14 cups dried cranberries
- 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
- 4 cups unseasoned bread cubes
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Preheat oven to 325F Melt butter in large skillet on medium heat.
- Add celery and onion; cook and stir 5 minutes or until softened.
- Stir in next 5 ingredients and orange peel.
- Place bread cubes in large bowl.
- Add celery mixture and broth; toss gently until well mixed.
- Spoon into lightly greased 13x9-inch baking dish; cover.
- Bake 35-40 minutes or until heated through and lightly browned.
