Spiced Pita Chips
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 12 teaspoon ground coriander
- 14 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 12 teaspoon garlic powder
- 14 teaspoon black pepper
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 3 whole wheat pita bread
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Cut pitas into 1/8's.
- In a large bowl combine olive oil and spices.
- Add pita wedges and toss to coat.
- (I like to use my large spatula to get every last drop to spread on any "dry" spot).
- Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes.
- Flip once half way through cooking then continue until chips are brown and crisp.
- Cool completely before serving.
