Besan Burfi

  1. Melt shortening in a pan.
  2. Turn down heat and add cardamom and Besan.
  3. Fry, stirring constantly to prevent burning until it has changed Turn off heat and stir in sugar.
  4. Spread on a platter 1/2 inch thick.
  5. Cut into diamond shapes after it has cooled down.
