Besan Burfi
- 1 cup besan
- 1 cup vegetable shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 each cardamom seeds
- Melt shortening in a pan.
- Turn down heat and add cardamom and Besan.
- Fry, stirring constantly to prevent burning until it has changed Turn off heat and stir in sugar.
- Spread on a platter 1/2 inch thick.
- Cut into diamond shapes after it has cooled down.
