Bhel Puri
- 4 cups rice cooked
- 1 cup - sev
- 20 each - papadi
- 1/2 cup onions chopped
- 1/2 cup potatoes boiled, chopped
- 8 tablespoons chutney amchur or imli ki chutney
- 4 tablespoons chutney green
- 1/2 tablespoonslemon juice optional
- 1 x salt to taste
- 1 x cayenne pepper to taste
- 4 each - papadis, crushed
- 4 tablespoons - sev
- 2 tablespoons cilantro Fresh coriander, chopped
- Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and toss gently until all the ingredients are well mixed.
- Divide into 4 equal portions and garnish each portion with the papadis, sev and coriander.
- Serve immediately.
- Tips Nylon sev is a very thin variety of deep fried besan sev used as a topping for chaats.
- It is readily available at most provision stores.
- Note
- If you want you can roast puff rice (it is optional).I do and always get a delicious flavour.
- For roast you have to hot a pan n just roast it for 5min only without using oil.
