Super Easy Chinese Cabbage and Bacon
- 1/4 Chinese or nappa cabbage
- 5 to 6 slices Bacon
- 1 Soup stock cube
- 200 ml Water
- 1 Salt and pepper
- Chop the Chinese cabbage into 5 cm squares.
- Do the same with the bacon.
- Put the Chinese cabbage into a large pot, like an earthen pot.
- I recommend you put the pieces with the hard stems in at the bottom.
- Put bacon on top and add water.
- Cover the pot and steam-cook.
- Stir once or twice while it's cooking.
- When the Chinese cabbage releases water and becomes soft, remove the lid.
- Dissolve in the soup stock cube and continue to simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
- To finish, season with salt and pepper to your liking.
