Easy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cake
- 1 (18.5 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix with pudding
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/3 c. vegetable oil
- 1/3 c. creamy peanut butter
- 1 1/2 c. Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
- 1/4 c. unsalted peanuts or chopped pecans
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- Grease and lightly flour 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- Prepare cake batter according to package directions, using eggs, water and oil.
- Blend in peanut butter.
- Spoon half of batter into prepared pan.
- Sprinkle 3/4 cup chocolate chips over batter.
- Gently spread remaining batter over top.
- Sprinkle remaining 3/4 cup chocolate chips and nuts over batter.
- Bake 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack.
- Makes 12 to 15 servings.
