Honey Pinwheel Biscuits Recipe
- 2 c. flour
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 6 tbsp. butter
- 3/4 to 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. honey
- Cinnamon
- 1/4 c. currants
- 1/4 minced pecans
- Sift flour and baking pwdr and salt together.
- Cut in butter.
- Add in lowfat milk gradually, stirring till soft dough is formed.
- Turn on lightly floured board and knead lightly 30 seconds.
- Roll tightly into oblong piece, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Drizzle honey over surface and sprinkle with cinnamon, currants, and pecans entire surface.
- Roll dough as you would jelly roll.
- Slice 1 inch and place, cut side down, on oiled or possibly butter cookie sheet.
- Bake in preheated oven (375 degrees) about 15 min till brown.
