Strawberry Almond Salsa
- 1/2 cup toasted sliced almonds
- 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and rinsed
- 1/2 teaspoon chopped serrano or jalapeno chilies
- 2 teaspoons chopped mint leaves
- 1/4 cup Amaretto
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Combine all ingredients in bowl of a food processor or blender.
- Puree until smooth but slightly rough-textured
