Sweet Apple BBQ Pulled Pork
- 1 whole Medium White Or Yellow Onion, Peeled And Chopped Into Large Pieces
- 1 head Garlic, Peeled, Cloves Separated
- 2 cups Ketchup
- 1 cup Applesauce
- 13 cups Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Sea Salt
- Fresh Ground Pepper
- 1 whole Pork Butt Roast
- Blend all of the ingredients (except pork) in a large blender until smooth.
- Place pork butt roast in crock pot.
- Pour 2/3 of sauce over pork roast.
- Cook on low setting for 8-10 hours, until meat falls apart.
- Then pull apart meat with 2 forks and transfer to serving dish.
- Heat remaining sauce in microwave or on stovetop until its hot, and then add it to the prepared meat, mixing well.
- Serve with focaccia, corn bread, or on corn taco shells with fresh salsa.
