Clear-and-Creamy Parfaits
- 3/4 cup boiling water
- 1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Lemon Flavor Gelatin
- ice cubes
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
- Stir boiling water into dry gelatin mix in medium bowl at least 2 min.
- until completely dissolved.
- Add enough ice to cold water to measure 1-1/4 cups.
- Add to gelatin; stir until slightly thickened.
- Discard any unmelted ice.
- Remove 1 cup of the gelatin mixture; set aside.
- Add whipped topping to remaining gelatin; stir with wire whisk until well blended.
- Spoon clear and creamy gelatins alternately into four parfait glasses or dessert dishes.
- Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.
- Store leftover parfaits in refrigerator.
