Clear-and-Creamy Parfaits

  1. Stir boiling water into dry gelatin mix in medium bowl at least 2 min.
  2. until completely dissolved.
  3. Add enough ice to cold water to measure 1-1/4 cups.
  4. Add to gelatin; stir until slightly thickened.
  5. Discard any unmelted ice.
  6. Remove 1 cup of the gelatin mixture; set aside.
  7. Add whipped topping to remaining gelatin; stir with wire whisk until well blended.
  8. Spoon clear and creamy gelatins alternately into four parfait glasses or dessert dishes.
  9. Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.
  10. Store leftover parfaits in refrigerator.
