Maple-Pecan Pie
- 1 12 cups pecans, toasted
- 1 cup maple sugar
- 23 cup maple syrup
- 14 cup butter
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 14 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 pie crust
- 1.
- Bake the pecans 350 degrees, 8-12 minutes, until toasty.
- Set aside to cool.

- Heat the sugar, syrup and butter to boiling, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and cool.

- Beat in the eggs, cream and vanilla.
- Stir in the pecans.
- 4.
- Pour into a crimped pie crust.
- 5.
- Bake 400 degrees, 10 minutes, 350 degrees 30-35 minutes., until a knife tip inserted into the center comes out clean.
- 6.
- Serve with unsweetened maple flavored whipped cream, if desired.
