Easy Oven Baked Meatballs

  1. Preheat oven to 220C
  2. Braise the onion and green bell pepper in a hot frying pan with the olive oil until almost brown.
  3. About 5 minutes.
  4. Set aside to cool.
  5. Break the bread into little pieces in a food processor, add the milk, 1 egg, BBQ spice, salt and black pepper.
  6. Blend into a smooth paste.
  7. Mix together the smooth paste with the lean beef mince and parsley.
  8. Divide into 12 equal portions and roll into balls.
  9. (Unless you want bigger portions) Or go smaller and make cocktail meatballs, or make a meatloaf.
  10. Place in a greased oven pan.
  11. Beat 1 egg and paint the top of the meatballs with the egg.
  12. Bake for 18-20 minutes.
  13. Grill for the last 3 minutes.
  14. make sure that the meatballs is cooked and golden brown.
  15. Serve with mash potatoes and gravy or your favourite side dish.
