Brown Rice Casserole
- 1 c. uncooked brown rice
- 4 c. boiling water
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 small cans mushrooms
- 4 bouillon cubes in 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. celery salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. onion salt
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. ground bay leaves
- 3/4 c. celery, chopped
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1 lb. lean ground beef, browned
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
- Soak brown rice for 2 hours.
- In large casserole mix all ingredients (except almonds).
- Lightly sprinkle almonds on top. Bake for 1 1/2 hours, covered at 350u0b0.
