Tampa's Own Fish Chowder*

  1. Fry bacon and remove from pan.
  2. Add onions and garlic to drippings.
  3. Saute until tender but not browned.
  4. Add the water, potatos, carrots, celery, and paprika.
  5. Cook until the potatos are almsot done.
  6. Cut fish into 1 inch squares.
  7. Add seasonings and fish at the same time.
  8. Cook until fish becomes flaky.
  9. Pour in the Half and Half and stir well.
  10. NOTE*.
  11. you may add 2 Tblspns of a dry white wine to this as well.
