Ham Supper Soup Recipe
- 1 ham bone
- 1 1/2 c. dry split peas
- 1 1/2 c. corn
- 1 1/2 c. cubed carrots
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1 1/2 c. cubed potatoes
- 1/2 c. minced celery
- Cover ham bone with 2 qts water in large kettle.
- Simmer, covered for 1 hour and 30 min.
- Add in peas, carrots and onion.
- Simmer for 1 hour longer.
- Add in potatoes and celery.
- Remove bone.
- Cut off meat.
- Return meat to kettle, simmer for 15-20 min longer.
