With Puff Pastry and a Chocolate Bar Triangle Chocolate Pies
- 1 sheet Store-bought puff pastry
- 1/2 Chocolate bar
- 1 Egg
- 1 dash Water
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and place the puff pastry.
- (When using frozen, defrost it)
- Cut in half first.
- Then cut diagonally to make triangles.
- Cover with chocolate, but leave the edges.
- You can use any kinds of chocolate!
- Lightly apply water on the edges with a finger, and put another triangle sheet on top.
- Press down the edges with a fork to stick 2 sheets together.
- Brush the surface with a beaten egg Just like painting the surface yellow.
- Bake in an oven preheated to 180C for 15 minutes.
- Turn down the temperature to 160C and continue baking for 10 minutes (until nicely browned), then they're done
- *When you chill them in the fridge, the chocolate inside hardens and it'll become delicious (^^)
- Addendum: When you cut the pastry into triangles, if you make cuts on the top sheets, you can see through the chocolate a little bit, and look tasty
