Peach and Apple Cobbler
- 4 cups apples, peeled and sliced
- 4 cups sliced peaches
- 23 cup sugar
- 23 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 12 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 14 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 3 tablespoons butter, cut in pieces
- 4 buttermilk biscuits, baked and halved
- 2 teaspoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar
- Toss fruit with combined sugars, flour and spices and spoon into slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on high until fruit is tender, about 2 hours.
- Arrange biscuit halves, cut side down, on fruit during last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Dot with cold butter.
- Brush biscuits lightly with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
- Serve warm.
