Halloween Cool Whip Graveyard Treat

• 2 1/4 c. chocolate wafer cookie crumbs, divided
• 1/2 c. sugar, divided
• 1/2 c. margarine, melted
• 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
• 1 (12 oz.) tub Cool Whip, thawed
• 2 c. boiling water
• 1 pkg. (8 serving size) or 2 pkg. (4 serving size) orange Jell-O
• 1/2 c. cold water
• ice cubes
• decorations

1. Mix 2 cups of cookie crumbs with 1/4 cup sugar and margarine; press firmly in bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan.
2. Refrigerate.
3. Beat cream cheese and remaining 1/4 cup sugar in bowl until smooth; stir in 1/2 of whipped topping.
4. Spread over crust.
5. Stir boiling water into gelatin in bowl 2 minutes or until dissolved.
6. Mix cold water and ice to make 1 1/2 cups; stir into gelatin until slightly thickened.
7. Spoon over cream cheese layer.
8. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.
9. Spread remaining whipped topping over gelatin. Sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs.
10. Decorate as a graveyard. Makes 15 to 18 servings.
